About The Position

Banijay Americas seeks a Director, FP&A to lead day-to-day financial planning and analysis across multiple business units. This role is responsible for executing monthly reporting and forecasting, variance analysis, and the annual budgeting process, while delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights to senior management to support operational and financial decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong emphasis on FP&A and corporate finance execution.
  • 5+ years of experience in the entertainment industry (Film, Television, or Live Events).
  • Proven hands-on experience with three-statement modeling, forecasting, and acquisition support.
  • Solid understanding of entertainment economics, including revenue recognition.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across creative and operational teams.
  • Ability to work in the office four (4) days per week in North Hollywood.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of FP&A and corporate finance activities across Banijay’s divisions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial process implementation.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses for executive management.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reporting processes for all operating departments and subsidiaries.
  • Lead forecasting processes across the business to project operating results and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit month-end and quarter-end close requirements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, intercompany activity, cash flow, and net working capital, and analyze actuals versus forecast and budget.
  • Develop and maintain tools and reporting that enable budget owners and finance leadership to understand variances and make informed resource allocation decisions.
  • Partner closely with production finance, operations, business affairs, and creative teams to ensure budgets, forecasts, and actuals align with approved greenlights and operating plans.
  • Perform in-depth financial, variance, and trend analysis on key profitability drivers and performance metrics; interpret results and present actionable recommendations to support financial targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A systems, tools, and workflows, including automation, standardization, and process efficiency.
  • Manage and develop a small FP&A team, providing hands-on leadership and maintaining high analytical, execution, and accuracy standards.
