About The Position

The Director of Forecasting and Reporting at Nutanix will be a highly analytical professional with a deep understanding of the Subscription business model and a strategic mindset, playing a critical role in influencing the strategic direction of the business. This role is part of the Corporate FP&A team, which is responsible for driving financial analysis and strategic decision-making for the company. The team collaborates closely with the Strategic Finance team, Executive team, and department heads to understand business objectives, provide insights, and offer recommendations. The Corporate FP&A team is highly analytical and process-oriented, focusing on developing and managing financial models for forecasting and reporting, and plays a critical role in long-range planning, budgeting, and overall business strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive growth in Finance, Strategy, or Operations Enterprise SaaS experience
• Ability to develop strategic and long-range plans.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Highly analytical and process oriented
• Skilled at building and driving new frameworks and processes.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Own forecast for current year and quarter P&L, FCF, ARR, GRR, NRR.
• Support Strategy team in company-wide long-range planning and AOP.
• Strategic financial counsel to executive team
• Prepare materials for board meetings and support strategic initiatives.
• Perform budget/forecast versus actual analysis and generate insights for senior management.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to executive leadership.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and critical messages to executives and leadership.
