About The Position

The Director of Fixed Income Sales Strategy will oversee the execution of sales strategies and performance against targets, focusing on our fixed income suite of index solutions. This role will be pivotal in designing and implementing effective sales campaigns to enhance market penetration, expanding our client base among global asset managers, ETF issuers, banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. The Director will partner closely with product, marketing, and client coverage teams to define and execute the sales and retention strategy, leveraging a global campaign framework and ensuring consistency of messaging internally and externally. Responsibilities

  • Partner with relevant S&P DJI teams to define the fixed income sales and retention strategy, ensuring alignment with our global commercial strategy.
  • Develop and execute the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for new fixed income products and services.
  • Supervise and report on the execution of fixed income sales strategies and performance against targets, course-correcting where needed.
  • Design and implement effective fixed income sales campaigns to enhance market penetration.
  • Oversee lead generation efforts and optimize conversion processes.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Serve as a center of excellence for fixed income product communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure sales teams understand the overall fixed income strategy and our capabilities for diverse customers.
  • Develop and execute client planning, mapping key relationships and decision-makers, and mobilizing resources using appropriate tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with client needs.
  • Engage with clients and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
