For more information, please visit www.wealthenhancement.com. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fixed Income Associate to join our Investment Management team. This role provides critical support to Wealth Enhancement Advisory Services (WEAS) as an RIA and contributes directly to the research, execution, and oversight of fixed income portfolios. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical skills and a passion for financial markets. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Sciences (e.g., physics, chemistry).
  • 0–3 years of experience working with financial markets, modern portfolio theory, or asset allocation principles.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, VBA, or other widely used programming languages; formal training in application development is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic risk management concepts and experience with standard risk management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills—able to deliver complex investment concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Competence with AI prompting tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Fixed Income (FI) teams with administrative, operational, and workflow tasks.
  • Support research, analysis, and documentation of bond portfolios.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of departmental materials and processes.
  • Prepare marketing materials and manage credit filings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade settlement processes.
  • Create, update, and analyze market graphs to support investment decision-making.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency.
  • Develop and prepare financial planning tools and marketing materials for client-facing presentations.
  • Support sales teams with high‑quality resources and data-driven insights.
  • Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows and support firm-wide initiatives.
  • Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct research on fixed income securities, evaluate market trends, and synthesize insights to support investment decisions and risk management.
  • Prepare trade tickets, process custodial-level client allocations, and monitor trade settlements.
  • Produce internal reports, quarterly/annual charts, and custom deliverables for investment reviews.
  • Maintain credit files for corporate and municipal bonds, including collecting key financial data and assessing creditworthiness.
  • Support the development and enhancement of analytic tools through programming and data automation.
