About The Position

The Director, Financial Systems leads the strategy and delivery of financial and accounting systems initiatives across the organization. This role oversees core financial systems and integrations, working closely with Finance leadership and IT to support efficient, scalable, and compliant business processes. The Director provides overall system oversight, supports reporting and data needs, and ensures financial systems are aligned with organizational goals and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Six or more years of experience working with financial systems, including ERP and/or EPM platforms (e.g., JD Edwards/Oracle or similar).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in standard business software, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or similar) and/or a postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in senior financial leadership roles, such as Controller or similar positions, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with advanced financial systems and cloud-based applications, including EPM platforms, and exposure to treasury or broader financial operations.
