We are searching for a Director of Financial Reporting to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. The Director of Financial Reporting is a key financial leader responsible for championing the Company’s external reporting and technical accounting capabilities. This role ensures the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant financial statements and SEC filings while shaping the Company’s accounting and reporting strategy in a high-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. As a trusted advisor across the organization, this role brings strong technical expertise, sharp business insight, and a forward looking mindset to support decision making and drive performance. You will have the opportunity to: Own all aspects of the preparation and review of financial reports on Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and the annual Proxy, ensuring high quality U.S. GAAP financial statements, disclosures, MD&A and all SEC reporting Deliver compelling, insightful monthly / quarterly / ad-hoc reporting of financial results to senior management and the Board of Directors Partner with Investor Relations and senior leadership to support earnings materials, public communications and ongoing peer and industry benchmarking. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth and efficient quarterly reviews and annual audits Lead research and documentation of complex technical accounting matters, monitor emerging US GAAP and SEC developments, and drive adoption of new accounting pronouncements and reporting requirements Partner and collaborate with Legal, Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations and our Business Units to ensure alignment between operational performance, financial results, and external messaging Lead various other key strategic initiative projects that strengthen the Company’s position for long-term growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA license required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including public company and SEC reporting.
  • Strong expertise in CPG / manufacturing environment.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience managing external audits; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and consolidations systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with Workiva, XBRL, or similar SEC reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience drafting technical accounting memos and financial statement disclosures.
