About The Position

As a Director on the Fidelity Wealth (FW) Finance Team, you will support the Investor Services (IS) organization by delivering impactful, insightful financial analysis that drives improved outcomes and stronger financial performance. This role partners closely with leaders across Investor Services—particularly those overseeing Fidelity Advisory Services (FAS) and Executive Services (ES)—to provide strategic analytics, performance management, annual planning, and executive-level recommendations. You will lead a wide range of consultative analytics, manage strategic priorities, and guide financial decision-making across the business. Additionally, you will serve as a key leader within the FW Finance group, overseeing responsibilities for junior financial analysts and contributing to the overall development of the team. You will be part of the Fidelity Wealth Finance Team, working closely with IS business leaders, FW Finance leadership, and Finance colleagues across the organization. Your work will directly support senior management by delivering high-impact analytics, strategic recommendations, and executive-ready insights. As a key contributor to FW Finance’s mission, you will help guide decision‑making that influences the growth and development of Fidelity’s Wealth businesses and strengthens outcomes for both clients and associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of professional Finance experience with a strong track record in financial modeling and analysis
  • FP&A and line finance experience with ability to partner effectively with senior leaders
  • Outstanding management, analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
  • Flexibility to both lead and contribute within teams
  • Business maturity, confidence, and strong presence when working independently or collaborating across the organization
  • Experience leading full project lifecycles, from establishing timelines to execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build consultative relationships across Finance and the business
  • Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise and apply institutional knowledge to produce high-quality analytics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while operating effectively amid ambiguity
  • Initiative and creativity in developing innovative solutions that challenge traditional approaches
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and mentoring financial analyst talent
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and lead within a highly matrixed environment, with strong judgment on when to involve other COEs
