About The Position

As the Director, CSO FP&A, you will apply your leadership and financial expertise to support both senior business and finance leaders. In this role, you are responsible for driving comprehensive financial analysis to inform planning, budgeting, strategic decision making, and overall performance of the Customer Support Organization, including Professional Services, Renewals business, Customer Support and Customer Services organizations. Your strong communication skills enable you to clearly present analyses, share results and recommendations, and effectively influence decisions across all organizational levels, including senior management. Serving as the primary finance business partner for the CSO Senior Vice President. This position requires a consultative and challenging approach, providing actionable insights, financial expertise, and stewardship of worldwide resources, while ensuring governance of the profit and loss (P&L) statement. Beyond business partnering and providing critical insights, this team manages the company’s support revenue, Professional Services P&L, Customer Service COGS/Opex and Renewal bookings/revenue. Responsibilities

  • Manage the CSO P&L, developing recommendations and action plans to ensure revenue and contribution margin targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Monitor, manage, and track the execution of these action plans.
  • Prepare detailed analysis and commentary explaining variances and trends within the P&L.
  • Lead investment evaluation and prioritization, set strategic direction, and allocate resources to meet financial objectives.
  • Ensure that all key P&L metrics are well understood and proactively tracked to achieve company targets.
  • Oversee financial considerations of Services Portfolio changes, new services introduction, viability of existing offerings, and Services impacts of new Product offerings
  • Identify market opportunities and determine appropriate business and financial strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Work closely with regional (Geo) teams and other FP&A groups to drive process excellence and ensure alignment of outcomes.
  • Lead financial analysis activities for the area: interpret the root causes of financial results, investigate variances, and develop remediation or investment plans as needed.
  • Deliver actionable insights to drive top-line revenue growth and optimize operating margin.
