Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10-15 years in a manufacturing environment; experience managing a team of finance professionals
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and planning software
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 15% within North America

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CMA, or CPA
  • Working knowledge of SAP and BPC

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Finance lead/business partner to the supply chain sourcing, planning and logistics leadership in meeting their business and financial objectives; provide regular reports of key performance indicators; identify variances from expected results, risks to projected performance and opportunities for improvement; present and communicate to senior leadership as part of monthly operation reviews
  • Oversee and prepare annual financial budget and monthly forecast for sourcing, planning and logistics; execute an efficient planning process that aligns interdependent functional groups to produce an integrated, plan (direct material, logistics and transportation, and related cost centers & capital expenditures)
  • Oversee the productivity reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy; provide management and quality control over the close process; review trial balance reports to ensure completeness of accounting entries
  • Manage inventory reporting and analysis, including E&O reporting and reserves, Lower cost or Market reserves, and tariff reporting and scenario planning
  • Oversee the internal control environment pertaining to the supply chain processes; ensure all controls are in place to verify compliance with GAAP
  • Play key role in sourcing productivity process; use rigorous analysis of data to provide leadership with real-time awareness of operating trends and areas for improvement; review ROI analysis on all proposed Capital Expenditures to ensure reasonable payback; perform post mortems on significant expenditures to ensure financial benefit has been achieved
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.
