About The Position

The Director, Finance (Revenue Optimization) is responsible for leading and overseeing core finance activities for ELM, with a strong focus on revenue performance, commercial execution, and financial rigor. This role plays a critical part in supporting ELM’s business turnaround by accelerating priorities around Retention, Pricing, and New Logo Sales, while stabilizing finance operations and strengthening team performance. The Director combines deep FP&A expertise with a commercial and process‑oriented mindset, enabling the finance function toward proactive, value‑adding business partnership. This role reports directly to the VP Finance and acts as a key strategic partner across the organization. As a Director, you'll provide leadership to senior managers and high-level professionals. You will have primary responsibility for the performance and results of significant finance operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring our financial practices support the organization's long-term success.

Requirements

  • Proven senior‑level experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Revenue Finance.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial discipline in complex environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales, pricing, and growth initiatives.
  • Track record of process improvement, performance transparency, and operational stabilization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience operating as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the VP Finance to define and execute finance strategy aligned with turnaround objectives.
  • Support key growth priorities including Retention, Pricing optimization, and New Logo Sales.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales, Marketing, and Commercial leadership.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, deal structures, and contract economics to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Strengthen forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility.
  • Stabilize and strengthen finance operations, controls, and governance.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
  • Ensure alignment and compliance with internal policies, approval matrices, and contractual obligations.
  • Reduce manual effort and improve data quality through standardization and automation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to senior managers and high‑level finance professionals.
