About The Position

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, standardization, and transformation across global finance functions (RTR, Payroll, P2P, OTC). The position develops and maintains a scalable, transparent service delivery model, leveraging best practices and innovation to ensure cost-effective, resilient operations. Reporting to the Senior Director, for Finance Optimization, the role collaborates with internal and external partners, including Operations Units, TCCC Functional Hubs, Genpact, DTS, contractors, and vendors. This role offers significant scope for personal and professional growth, placing the leader at the heart of the organization’s transformation journey. Success is measured by the ability to unlock value, reduce friction, and create sustainable competitive advantage through operational excellence and innovation. The Director – Finance Ops Optimization Lead is a strategic, high-impact role focused on transforming global finance operations. It requires visionary leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to drive change and innovation across diverse teams and functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in operations, process optimization, or global business service management.
  • Expertise in service catalogue management, process mapping, policy governance, risk management, and technology strategy.
  • Proven leadership of large, cross-functional, multi-geographic teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with digital transformation (RPA, IA, AI/Gen AI, cloud technologies).
  • Ability to drive organizational change and foster innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Optimization & Global Process Ownership Manage and update the service catalogue for all finance functions.
  • Lead global process standardization, using value stream mapping to identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Champion adoption of best practices and frameworks for consistency and compliance.
  • Policy Governance & Risk Management Ensure Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP) are current and communicated.
  • Oversee the Risk Control Matrix (RCM) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for robust risk mitigation.
  • Track audit points and Management Action Plans (MAPS), streamlining policies to eliminate inefficiency.
  • People & Organizational Management Maintain oversight of operations teams’ size and location across all entities.
  • Monitor workforce allocation for optimal talent use.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture across global teams.
  • Track and manage operational costs, implementing cost control and transparent reporting.
  • Leadership & Strategic Partnership Advise senior executives and functional heads on operational optimization.
  • Build strategic partnerships for best practice sharing and innovation.
  • Represent the organization in global forums and industry events.
