The Director, Fiduciary Advisory Services provides high-quality sales and service to Trust & Estate clients, ensuring an exceptional client experience. This role involves offering technical expertise in all aspects of Trust & Estate account management and administration to ensure compliance. The Director works collaboratively within the branch and regional team, identifying referral opportunities to other business groups. Key responsibilities include overseeing content and marketing materials for new business proposals, ensuring profitability and risk management, and identifying opportunities to grow existing relationships and develop new business. The Director makes presentations to clients/prospects, provides day-to-day technical support to fiduciary account management teams, and manages trust, agency, or probate accounts as a trustee. They may also serve as a Relationship Manager for assigned clients. The position requires making recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies, and potentially networking with industry contacts. The Director manages resources, leads strategic initiatives, determines business priorities, conducts independent analysis to resolve strategic issues, and builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Further duties include coordinating database management, monitoring performance, designing reports and dashboards, leading change management programs, developing communication strategies, executing operational programs, and managing governance meetings. The role also involves overseeing the design and implementation of tools and training, acting as a vendor contact, managing vendor relationships, supporting contract negotiations, and overseeing the maintenance of Policies and Procedures Manuals. The Director develops and manages business programs, identifies business needs, and performs sales and service support activities, including administrative support for financial reports, reconciliation, compliance, and fee collection. They are expected to meet high-quality service standards, develop client rapport, adhere to risk and compliance processes, and protect the Bank's assets while complying with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements. This role operates at a group/enterprise-wide level, serving as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders, applying expertise to complex situations, and implementing changes in response to shifting trends, all while applying the Risk Management Framework.
