About The Position

The Director, Executive Operations is a senior strategic and operational partner to Sloomoo’s leadership team, working closely with the Co-Founders/CEO to drive alignment, execution, and momentum across the organization. This role serves as a central point of coordination, ensuring priorities move forward, decisions are well-informed, and teams stay connected as the company scales. Blending big-picture thinking with hands-on execution, the Executive Director helps translate strategy into action, removes obstacles, and brings clarity to complex, fast-moving initiatives. This is a high-impact, high-trust role for someone who can operate at both the strategic and tactical levels with confidence and precision. You will be key to upholding Sloomoo’s values: 1. Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, startups, or a Chief of Staff–adjacent role.
  • M.B.A.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Strong business judgment with a people-first mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong financial modeling skills.
  • High financial acumen.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling competing priorities.
  • Ability to operate with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to define, track, and execute company-wide priorities and initiatives.
  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable, well-sequenced plans with clear owners, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Drive follow-through on strategic initiatives across People, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Experience teams.
  • Act as a force multiplier for leadership by ensuring priorities move from vision to execution.
  • Prepare leadership for key meetings by developing agendas, briefings, analysis, and decision frameworks.
  • Synthesize complex, cross-functional information into clear recommendations, insights, and next steps.
  • Serve as a thought partner on organizational design, growth planning, and operational challenges.
  • Support executive decision-making through data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional special projects on behalf of executive leadership, from concept through execution.
  • Own ambiguous, time-sensitive initiatives requiring discretion, judgment, and independent execution.
  • Drive end-to-end project management, including scoping, prioritization, resourcing, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Track progress, identify risks, surface tradeoffs, and proactively remove blockers.
  • Establish systems, workflows, and documentation to improve execution and accountability.
  • Serve as a central connector across departments to ensure alignment, communication, and accountability.
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and proactively propose solutions.
  • Support change management initiatives as the organization evolves and scales.
  • Help build and refine scalable systems, processes, and operating systems.
  • Monitor progress against company goals and flag issues early with recommended paths forward.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and people-related data to inform executive decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, reporting, and summaries that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate processes and performance to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Translate complex data into concise, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Reinforce company values and culture through consistent execution and clear communication.
  • Support internal communications, leadership updates, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted, discreet partner in sensitive or high-stakes situations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
