About The Position

The Robinson College of Business Executive MBA (EMBA) program is a cohort-based graduate program for experienced professionals and senior managers seeking to accelerate their leadership impact and career trajectory. Nationally ranked by the Financial Times and other organizations, the program is delivered in a high-touch executive format that integrates rigorous academics, applied learning, and deep engagement with Atlanta’s global business community. The director of the Executive MBA Program is a senior leadership role whose primary responsibilities include driving enrollment growth, strengthening the EMBA's market position, and ensuring its financial sustainability. While the role includes oversight of operations and the student experience, its defining mandate is to build and sustain a strong, predictable enrollment pipeline and ensure the program's long-term vitality in a competitive executive education market. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape Robinson’s presence among senior executives and organizations while leading one of the college’s flagship graduate programs. The director serves as the business development and enrollment leader for the EMBA and works in close partnership with the faculty director, the senior associate dean for graduate programs and executive education, the dean’s office, and college partners.

  • Experience developing employer-supported or corporate-sponsored enrollment pipelines and maintaining long-term organizational relationships that generate recurring demand.
  • Demonstrated fluency with CRM systems and data-driven enrollment management (e.g., Salesforce, Slate), including use of dashboards, pipeline reviews, and performance metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with faculty leadership in a shared-governance environment while maintaining momentum and accountability for outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the competitive Executive MBA marketplace and experience in positioning programs for differentiation in crowded or mature markets.
  • Evidence of a strategic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented leadership style that prioritizes proactive relationship building over passive administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Executive MBA’s recruitment and business development strategy with clear accountability for annual cohort enrollment targets, revenue goals, and enrollment quality.
  • Own the full enrollment lifecycle from lead generation through matriculation, applying a consultative, relationship-driven approach to prospect cultivation, conversion, and yield management.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with employers, senior executives, HR and talent leaders, alumni, and professional associations to generate predictable and repeatable pipelines of qualified candidates.
  • Serve as the primary external ambassador for the EMBA program, representing Robinson in the Atlanta business community and in regional and national executive education markets.
  • Lead the admissions process in close collaboration with the faculty director, exercising professional judgment in the holistic evaluation of candidates’ professional experience, leadership potential, academic readiness, and program fit.
  • Translate the EMBA’s academic rigor, leadership development focus, and career impact into compelling market-facing narratives that resonate with experienced professionals and employer sponsors.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics in the Executive MBA marketplace and refine positioning, pricing logic, and recruitment strategies to maintain differentiation and relevance.
  • Develop and execute the EMBA program’s strategic and annual operating plans in partnership with the faculty director and the senior associate dean for graduate programs and executive education.
  • Manage the EMBA budget in coordination with the dean’s office, ensuring financial sustainability and disciplined investment in recruitment, marketing, and program delivery.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process and a consistently excellent academic, physical, and digital learning environment for EMBA students and faculty.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and develop professional staff, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the effective use of CRM systems, data, and process innovation to strengthen recruitment effectiveness, applicant experience, and internal coordination.
  • Produce an annual program performance report addressing enrollment outcomes, student experience, career impact, and strategic priorities.
  • Engage EMBA alumni as ambassadors, mentors, and pipeline partners to strengthen recruitment, employer connections, and program visibility.
  • Collaborate with peer leaders across Robinson’s executive education and doctoral portfolio, including the managing director of the Executive Doctor of Business Administration program, to cultivate executive-level relationships, share market intelligence, and elevate the Robinson College of Business brand among senior leaders and organizations.
  • Collaborate with advancement, corporate relations, career services, and marketing teams to align EMBA growth with broader college initiatives.
  • Serve on College and University committees as appropriate and contribute to Robinson’s broader executive education and industry engagement strategy.
