About the Role The Director, Event Success, leads the Event Success team within the WSJ Barron's Group Live Journalism organization, overseeing the strategy, execution, and optimization of sponsor experiences across the event portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of sponsor activations and sponsor networking experiences across both custom and news-led events while maintaining the highest standards of client service and operational excellence. The Director manages and develops a team of Event Success Managers and the Networking Concierge Service, ensuring sponsors achieve meaningful engagement and measurable ROI through their event participation. Acting as a key bridge between Sales, Event Production, Programming and Marketing teams, the Director ensures sponsor deliverables are executed flawlessly while aligning with editorial integrity and the overall event experience. This role combines strategic leadership, client relationship oversight, and operational management to scale processes, enhance sponsor engagement, and support the continued growth of the Live business.
