About The Position

Oversees all departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management. Manages a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing required
• RN required
• 1-3 years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Directs Directors, Senior Managers, and occasionally senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching feedback.
• Leads area processes for the ER Services unit, and ensures methods align with the overall business strategy.
• Participates in the planning and implementation of new technologies, procedures, and services to support day-to-day operations.
• Applies key financial principles and organizational financial targets to departmental projects/budgets.
• Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs and to provide nursing care needed as described in the unit/department’s policies and procedures.
• Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
• Manages operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
• Creates a purpose driven environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being with the strategies and goals of the ER Services team.
