Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business IT, or related field – Required
  • 8+ years revenue cycle leadership in integrated health system using Epic – Required
  • 3+ years patient access management in acute care – Required
  • Epic certification in at least one revenue cycle application (HB or PB preferred) – Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree - Preferred
  • 7+ years progressive leadership in enterprise transformation, vendor governance, and technology optimization – Preferred
  • Strong understanding of RCM operations, payer rules, coding, billing, collections, and compliance – Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in implementing automation or RCM optimization programs at scale - Preferred
  • Project Management certification – Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement credential - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the revenue cycle expert in Epic-based solutions across front, middle, and back-end workflows; defines and executes automation strategy.
  • Leads adoption processes, change management, and communication across impacted departments and sites; ensures staff readiness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to redesign workflows, integrate governance standards, and maintain compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and payer requirements.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and technology assessments; establishes governance standards and evaluates ROI for automation and Epic-related solutions.
  • Monitors KPIs for cost savings, operational efficiency, and compliance; implements dashboards and analytics for continuous improvement; prepares executive-level reports.
  • Develops and maintains a strategic roadmap for automation initiatives aligned with enterprise transformation goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
