About The Position

seoClarity is scaling its enterprise sales engine and looking for a Director, Enterprise Sales (SaaS) (Chicago-based) who leads from inside the deal. Reporting to the COO, this is a producing leadership role where you own your number, shape the enterprise motion, and set the standard for how revenue is built and closed. This is NOT a sidelines role. You WILL carry a quota, hunt for enterprise opportunities, and stay hands on through discovery, negotiation, and close. At the same time, you will develop Account Executives, guide deal strategy, and elevate how the entire team sells into complex, multi stakeholder environments. Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including significant time selling and closing complex enterprise deals while leading others.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • A proven track record as a quota-carrying, producing sales leader with personal responsibility for closing high-value enterprise opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success generating enterprise pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic account targeting, and disciplined follow-up, not reliance on inbound flow or executive intervention.
  • Extensive experience selling into large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, buying committees, and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS buying motions and consultative, value-based selling in long-cycle environments.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing enterprise Account Executives and supporting roles while remaining actively involved in live deals.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and ownership, where leadership credibility is earned through execution and results.
  • A collaborative leadership style paired with clear accountability for personal production and team outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for, open, and close high-value enterprise opportunities, carrying a personal quota alongside team leadership responsibilities.
  • Own the enterprise sales motion end to end, from outbound opportunity creation through signed agreement and hand off to Customer Success.
  • Generate a meaningful portion of the enterprise pipeline through direct outbound effort, strategic targeting, and relationship development.
  • Lead and influence complex buying committees across marketing, SEO, procurement, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Set the standard for consultative, insight-driven enterprise sales conversations focused on ROI, business impact, and long-term value.
  • Actively engage in discovery, deal strategy, negotiations, and executive alignment on the most complex and high-impact opportunities.
  • Coach and develop enterprise Account Executives through live deal reviews, joint selling, and hands-on guidance.
  • Maintain rigorous discipline around pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM hygiene for both personal and team-owned deals.
  • Identify patterns in successful enterprise deals and translate them into scalable best practices and playbooks.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success to align enterprise strategy, messaging, and deal execution.
  • Represent seoClarity externally as a senior sales leader, bringing credibility, clarity, and confidence to executive-level conversations.
