About The Position

The Director, Enterprise Data & Architecture is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Ronald McDonald House Global’s enterprise data, architecture, and governance strategy. This leader will architect and deploy enterprise-grade data solutions, establish and mature data governance practices, and ensure all data and technology architecture decisions align with Ronald McDonald House Global’s mission, values, and long‑term strategy. This role collaborates closely with business and technology leaders across the Ronald McDonald House Global system to drive data quality, accessibility, interoperability, and value realization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, data engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing data or architecture teams.
  • Demonstrated success implementing enterprise data platforms, governance frameworks, and technical architectures.
  • Experience with modern data technologies (cloud-native data platforms, SaaS integration, ETL/ELT, API frameworks, data cataloging, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with strategic and operational needs.
  • Lead the design and deployment of enterprise data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, integration hubs, master data management (MDM), and analytics environments.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality data models, standards, and integration patterns supporting enterprise reporting, advanced analytics, and digital initiatives.
  • Evaluate and select data and integration technologies, tools, and vendors aligned with business requirements and Ronald McDonald House Global's technology strategy.
  • Establish and lead Ronald McDonald House Global’s enterprise data governance program, developing policies, standards, stewardship processes, and data quality frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define critical data elements, data ownership, and governance roles across the global organization.
  • Implement data quality improvement initiatives and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Drive adoption of governance practices through communication, training, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements related to data.
  • Serve as the executive point of accountability for enterprise data strategy, aligning architecture and governance with Ronald McDonald House Global’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Provide thought leadership on data-driven capabilities, enabling the organization to use data more effectively for decision-making, donor engagement, operations, and mission impact.
  • Partner with the CIO, IT team, and extended leadership team to ensure alignment between data strategy, enterprise architecture, and technology roadmaps.
  • Develop KPIs to measure the impact of data programs, governance maturity, and enterprise architecture effectiveness.
  • Represent Ronald McDonald House Global in cross-functional and cross-chapter data initiatives to support system-wide collaboration and insight sharing.
