About The Position

Director of Engineering Program Management (PMO) In this role, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will report directly to our CTO Connected HPS & Cyber and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 8 or more years of experience in engineering program management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

  • Lead and oversee the engineering program management function, ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence and improve project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineering program managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate project status and updates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization across the engineering program management function.
