ORIX USA is seeking a financial professional located in New York to support the growth of our infrastructure and renewable energy business. The candidate will play a crucial role in various areas, including fundraising, deal origination, assessing investment opportunities, leading in key due diligence work, investment committee presentation, transaction execution as well as monitoring and managing portfolio companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assess investment opportunities in the renewable energy, power and utilities sectors and other broader infrastructure sectors in line with ORIX’s strategic objectives, and participate in fundraising and capital origination activities Drive financial due diligence process, including managing financial modelling and valuation efforts performed by junior team members Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and engage external advisors in accounting, commercial, tax and legal areas Lead transaction execution, including deal structuring and transaction documentation Develop clear and concise materials for investment committee presentations and recurring investor reporting Thorough understanding of U.S. tax equity investment structures and typical financing arrangements for renewable projects. This enables synthesis of financial models incorporating construction loans, tax equity bridge loans and sponsor equity with back-leverage loans in both time and yield-based partnership flip structures Travel domestically and internationally for due diligence purposes, site visits and conferences Travel Requirements - 20%. Education, Skills and Experience: 6+ years of infrastructure investment experience or investment banking experience, with good knowledge in the renewable energy space Highly analytical and detailed oriented expert in conducting financial analysis, and ability to clearly articulate technical assumptions Strong interests in developing commercial relationships. Possess positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic, team-oriented and culturally diverse environment Enjoy working with various stakeholders and shareholders to facilitate ORIX’s due diligence process and portfolio management activities Equivalent bachelor’s degree in finance or similar field of study Annual base salary gross: $225,000 - $275,000 (NY only) . The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX's salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX's total compensation package for employees.
