About The Position

Granicus is a company dedicated to transforming the Govtech industry by building, implementing, and maintaining technology that connects governments and their constituents. They serve over 5,500 federal, state, and local government agencies and more than 300 million citizen subscribers with cloud-based solutions for communications, website design, meeting and agenda management, records management, and digital services. Granicus is seeking a "roll up your sleeves" Director of Embedded Process Consulting, AI Transformation to lead internal AI-driven transformation across the company from a business process and operating model perspective. This leader will collaborate closely with the engineering leader responsible for the internal AI platform to ensure that AI capabilities result in real, durable changes in how work is performed across various functions. The successful candidate will act as an internal consultant and transformation leader, embedding within functions, diagnosing inefficiencies, redesigning processes, and directly driving implementation. This is a hands-on operational role focused on delivering measurable revenue growth, productivity gains, and improved operating leverage through AI-enabled workflows. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation and involves direct collaboration with executive leadership to shape and execute Granicus’ internal AI transformation agenda.

  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience, with background in top-tier management consulting
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end transformation initiatives—from problem structuring through implementation and measurable results

  • Experience working on AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives, with the ability to translate technology capabilities into business outcomes
  • Strong business judgment and structured problem-solving skills; able to break down ambiguous problems and drive to actionable solutions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with both business leaders and technical teams; able to engage credibly with engineering counterparts
  • Track record of personally owning workstreams and delivering results
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a consulting or transformation environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in complex environments
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments, with a bias toward action and implementation

  • Develop repeatable methodologies, playbooks, and frameworks for AI-enabled process transformation across the enterprise
  • Drive alignment and influence across senior stakeholders, navigating a highly matrixed organization to remove blockers and accelerate execution
