About The Position

As the Director of EDI & API Network Configuration, you will lead the operational team responsible for building and maintaining the critical network assets that power customer "go-lives." This is a leadership role focused on technical enablement—you will oversee the guidelines, labeling, and communication channels (AS2/SFTP) that make partner integrations fast, repeatable, and low-risk. Your mission is to maintain a "go-live ready" network at scale while bridging traditional EDI infrastructure with modern API principles.

Requirements

  • Established Operations Leader: A proven track record of leading production-style teams in high-scale environments like B2B integration, fintech, or logistics.
  • Deep Domain Expertise: Demonstrated success in setting operational metrics (SLAs) and running high-accountability teams focused on technical configuration.
  • Process Architect: Accomplished at building repeatable systems, enforcing rigorous standards, and managing complex cross-functional workflows.
  • Strategic Communicator: Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate work across Customer Ops, Product, and Engineering departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with EDI certification workflows and API connectivity.
  • Technical familiarity with B2B communication protocols (AS2, SFTP) and certificate management.
  • Knowledge of label standards (e.g., GS1-128) and template governance.

Responsibilities

  • Process & Asset Ownership: Own end-to-end workflows and standards for all configuration streams, including EDI account requirements, certification, and label template governance.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and monitor high-precision SLAs, QA checks, and metrics (throughput and rework rates) to ensure production-grade execution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing configuration team through coaching, work allocation, and the development of rigorous training standards.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Build and maintain an intake model that aligns team resources with business priorities, customer tiers, and go-live timelines.
  • Product & Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with technical teams to automate manual configuration steps and improve self-service tooling for scaling.
  • Network Risk Management: Proactively identify and resolve connectivity risks, such as channel instability or coverage gaps, to prevent downstream escalations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to eliminate recurring defects and improve the overall efficiency of the onboarding ecosystem.
