About The Position

Pets Best is a leading pet insurance brand building the future of pet health and financial solutions. Our mission is to end economic euthanasia by ensuring pet parents are financially prepared to care for their pets. The Director, Digital Product role is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of Pets Best digital product portfolio.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
10+ years of Digital Project and/or Product Management experience
5+ years of project management experience, preferably Agile / IT Project Management

Nice To Haves

Experience working on consumer facing web and mobile experiences
An understanding of API products and technology
Familiarity with current digital design standards and user experiences
Demonstrated project and product management skills with strong attention to detail
Flexible, high energy, self-starter with an emphasis on action
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with little supervision
Able to build consensus across cross functional teams and matrix organizations, strong communication skills
Familiarity and experience working with technical teams in an agile development process, including the use of agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Training in scaled agile framework (SAFe) and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
High PC proficiency (MS Office, Teams, PowerPoint, etc)

Responsibilities

Own the strategic vision and digital product roadmap for consumer and partner facing applications that align with brand and enterprise objectives
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for a suite of digital products and application, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and budgeting
Understand customer and partner journeys and develop insights that help inform features, functionality, and future improvements across the business
Develop a dashboard and metrics to communicate leading indicators, progress against key goals and objectives, and ROI
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that can include product owners, designers, and business analysts
Define and maintain a digital product operating model, including standards, playbooks, governance, and compliance, in close coordination with other business units
Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement new feature/functionality enhancements
Design, implement, and analyze AB test result to guide effective decision making
Build a strong cross-functional network and foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders
Present learnings and recommendations to internal and external business partners
Identify market needs and propose new functionality based on competitive research and sound analytics
Understand consumer and digital marketing trends, consumer purchase cycles and best practices in UX and development
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proactively engage with Compliance and Legal to ensure adherence with all external and internal compliance and regulatory requirements.
