Our Sales Team drives digital advertising revenue across the enterprise. We partner closely with marketing, analytics, media, and product teams to build high-performing cross-platform advertising solutions that meet client objectives. We maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients and agencies, delivering exceptional service while identifying new opportunities for growth. This role focuses exclusively on digital advertising media sales within the pharmaceutical/life sciences and consumer health categories. As a Director, Digital Pharmaceutical Advertising Sales, you will be responsible for exceeding digital advertising revenue goals, securing new business, building long-term strategic partnerships, and elevating RVO Health Media’s presence across the marketplace. We are seeking an experienced, insights-driven sales leader who is passionate about healthcare and skilled at selling across multiple digital media platforms. Existing pharmaceutical industry relationships are valuable, but the ability to establish new client and agency connections is equally important. Success in this role requires strong consultative selling skills and the ability to execute compelling virtual and in-person presentations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years of digital pharmaceutical and consumer health ad sales experience.
  • Experience selling DTC and/or HCP-focused media solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape, digital advertising sales process, and performance measurement.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare trends, pharma marketing nuances, and publisher-side ad sales operations.
  • A consultative sales style that delivers insight, adds value, and fosters long-term client relationships.
  • Proven success presenting to and engaging with prospective clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working independently under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to inspire cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to travel nationally for client meetings.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer health categories such as otc, vms, cpg is a plus.
  • Existing pharmaceutical industry relationships are valuable, but the ability to establish new client and agency connections is equally important.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue goals by growing existing partnerships and cultivating new business.
  • Develop strategic, insight-led solutions and proactive opportunities that drive client success.
  • Present regularly to clients and agencies, both virtually and in person.
  • Plan and execute client-facing events and meetings.
  • Partner with media strategy and marketing teams to build integrated solutions aligned with client marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage pipeline activity in Salesforce, providing accurate forecasts and account updates
