About The Position

Engagement Overview This is a senior leadership role for a digital marketing strategist who thrives at the intersection of public affairs, paid media, and corporate reputation. You’ll lead the strategy, planning, and execution of tech public affairs communications campaigns — protecting and enhancing client reputation, influencing regulatory and legislative outcomes, and shaping public and stakeholder perception. If you have deep expertise in public affairs messaging, paid digital strategy, and can lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving, issue-driven environment, this is your moment. Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance Duration: 3 Months Hours/Week: Full-Time (40 hrs) or Part-Time (20 hrs) Hourly Rate: will confirm once budgets are locked, please list your ideal hourly rate when you apply! Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience across public affairs, brand management, and paid digital marketing.
  • Proven track record on complex client accounts delivering successful advocacy and media campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of cross-channel marketing with the ability to think analytically about complex problems.
  • Platform fluency across social media channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Snap.
  • Comfort presenting and briefing everyone from F100 C-suite leaders to cross-functional colleagues at every level.
  • High level of organization and precision — you manage scopes, budgets, reporting, and team delivery with excellence across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and analytical skills — you can shift between strategic storytelling and analytical reporting without missing a beat.
  • Immersed in policy conversation, competitive trends, and the media landscape to fuel real-time relevance.
  • Experience managing large teams with multiple layers, with a track record of developing talent and driving professional growth.
