About The Position

In short, as the Director, Digital Marketing Analytics & Performance Media (Director, Digital Marketing Analytics), you will own the strategy, execution, and measurement of DriveTime’s paid digital marketing investments across paid search and paid social, managing a $50M+ annual budget. You will lead a team of high-performing analysts responsible for driving high-quality leads and conversions to our dealership network through data-driven, performance-focused marketing. Your leadership will push the boundaries of marketing innovation—creative and audience strategy, landing page experiences, experimentation, and ad tech evolution—while partnering closely with Product, BI, and Data Science to advance our competitive edge. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a highly analytical role
  • 2+ experience managing or mentoring analysts
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Well versed in A/B testing and experimental design

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end paid media strategy across paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and paid social (Meta Ads)
  • Define and execute creative strategy, audience strategy, and landing page experience optimization
  • Launch, scale, and optimize campaigns to maximize lead generation and conversion for used car sales at dealerships
  • Lead a $50M+ performance marketing budget with rigorous ROI discipline
  • Deliver visibility into marketing investments through dashboards, insights, and storytelling to senior leadership
  • Design and interpret incrementality tests, geo-lift studies, A/B experiments, and platform lift tests
  • Own A/B test measurement, reporting, and insight generation to improve user experience and conversion rates
  • Drive continuous creative, messaging, and ad copy testing
  • Evolve DriveTime’s ad tech stack to be resilient in a cookie-loss environment
  • Implement and optimize Facebook CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, and other server-side tracking methods
  • Lead the evolution of our paid search strategy as AI transforms the search results landscape
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, elevating technical and strategic capability
  • Partner with BI and Data Science teams to build improved measurement, targeting, and predictive capabilities
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to translate goals into scalable data-driven solutions
  • Manage key digital media vendors and platform partners
