About The Position

ROLE SUMMARY Lead continuous improvement and digital transformation across Pfizer’s global manufacturing network, advancing operational excellence through IT/OT integration, innovative technologies, and performance management. The position collaborates closely with senior leaders, site teams, creation center leads and global partners to drive strategic alignment, strengthen compliance, and enhance the resilience, efficiency, and quality of operations worldwide. The Performance Management (CI) Lead is accountable for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and integrity while developing talent and elevating digital, technical, and automation capabilities. It also provides leadership in vendor governance, operational security, and the adoption of advanced tools—such as AI, robotics, and smart sensors—to ensure Pfizer remains competitive, agile, and prepared for emerging industry and regulatory demands. The role will be a critical member of the Digital & Technology PGS Network & Automation leadership team.

Requirements

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • A background in Continuous Improvement supporting Digital operations
  • Education: BA or BS in preferred disciplines: Information Technology, Manufacturing or Business Management.
  • 8+ years progressive experience working across global organizations
  • Experience with large scale / complex global organizations required
  • Digital Manufacturing experience required
  • Control system automation
  • Broad domain expertise across multiple business functions required
  • Role will require meetings/calls/events outside of traditional working hours due to the global nature of the organization.
  • Up to 25% travel required
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global continuous improvement initiatives to elevate operational excellence across the PGS Digital & Technology network.
  • Drive IMEx-based performance management, ensuring disciplined KPI governance and actionable insights across all sites.
  • Establish and maintain global standards, processes, and operating mechanisms that strengthen consistency and execution.
  • Guide long‑range demand planning and strategic roadmaps, aligning technology, automation, and operational priorities.
  • Advance IT/OT convergence to enhance system integration, data flow, and operational reliability.
  • Oversee vendor management, ensuring partner performance, contract alignment, and strategic value delivery.
  • Lead governance frameworks that ensure compliance, transparency, risk management, and effective decision‑making.
  • Manage operational budgets and financial planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and value realization.
  • Direct lifecycle management for digital systems and standards to ensure sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee contract and license management to optimize cost, compliance, and asset utilization.
  • Champion portfolio and demand planning, ensuring prioritization, resource alignment, and delivery visibility.
  • Inspire a culture of innovation, agility, and creative problem‑solving across Digital & Technology teams.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration across sites and functions, leveraging diverse perspectives to achieve shared goals.
  • Promote a people‑centric culture of respect, inclusion, empowerment, and leadership development
