About The Position

Open to Remote but candidates located in Richardson, TX and open to hybrid 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday) are highly preferred. The Director of Deal Management & Renewal Operations is strategic leader who enables our sales team to close bigger, better deals faster. In this role, you lead the Deal Desk and Renewals Operations teams (consisting of seven members across the U.S. and the Philippines), driving deal analysis, operational efficiency, and cross-regional collaboration. The Director combines strong financial and commercial acumen with operational leadership and modern finance capabilities, including the use of data science, AI-enabled analytics, and emerging AI agent technologies to improve decision-making and process scalability. You ensure our sales organization is supported with smart deal structures, strong financial insight, and increasingly intelligent, system-enabled processes.

Requirements

  • Deal Desk, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, or related commercial roles
  • Experience leading teams and supporting Sales organizations in SaaS or subscription-based environments
  • Strong background in financial modeling and deal analysis, with experience guiding analytical work
  • Proven experience improving operational processes in complex business environments
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to oversee complex deal modeling and challenge assumptions
  • Experience working with complex, fragmented, or multi-source data environments
  • Familiarity with modern finance tools and approaches, including data science, AI-enabled analytics, predictive modeling, or AI agent use cases
  • Ability to design and improve operational processes that support scalable sales execution
  • Leadership and coaching experience across distributed teams
  • Strong communication skills and partnership orientation with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments and drive clarity and structure
  • Systems mindset and comfort working across multiple tools and platforms

Responsibilities

  • Sales Partnership: Be a key enabler for Sales by ensuring deals are analyzed and supported efficiently, allowing sellers to close better deals faster.
  • Deal Financial Analysis Leadership: Oversee the deal financial analysis function, establishing structured frameworks and tools for evaluating deal economics across products, customers, and scenarios. Guide and develop analytical talent responsible for day-to-day modeling, and personally step in for the most complex or high-impact deal situations.
  • Deal Desk Operations: Oversee deal exception handling, refining processes to streamline approvals, improve turnaround times, and ensure consistent governance.
  • Renewals Operations: Lead the renewals team in standardizing processes, improving scalability, and reducing reliance on manual, person-dependent workflows.
  • Process Modernization, AI & Automation: Drive modernization of commercial operations processes through the use of advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, and emerging AI agent capabilities. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage predictive models, intelligent automation, and data-driven tools to improve efficiency, decision quality, and scalability.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of seven across Deal Desk and Renewals Operations, including U.S.-based and Philippines-based team members. Provide coaching, performance management, and foster a healthy, collaborative team environment across regions.
  • Systems & Transformation Partnership: Partner with IT and enterprise transformation teams (including ERP initiatives) to ensure business requirements are represented and processes evolve toward more scalable, system-enabled models.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and track KPIs that measure deal performance, process efficiency, renewal execution, and overall operational effectiveness.
