OVERVIEW As part of Inspire’s digital transformation and customer engagement strategy, we are expanding our data science capabilities. To achieve this, we require an experienced data science leader who can help guide our AI and machine learning initiatives in the marketing space. This position is an 80% onsite required role.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field with 6+ years of relevant work experience​ OR ​ PhD in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing data science teams of at least 4 or more
  • Multiple years of experience with Machine Learning Ops, building and maintaining live machine learning systems that drive incremental revenue.

  • Multiple years of work experience in retail industry or other high-volume consumer businesses

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and predictive modeling that improves marketing effectiveness for the 2nd largest restaurant company in the country.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, and is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders while building and mentoring multiple high-performing data science teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of production-grade machine learning models and recommendation systems that drive incremental revenue and increase marketing campaign’s Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Craft the Marketing Data Science Roadmap, working with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing and Technology to prioritize projects to deliver the highest business value.
  • Lead the development of predictive and causal models focused on strategic marketing and personalization activities reaching over 150 million customers, including customer lifetime value (CLV), Media Mix Models (MMM), churn models, cross-sell, and optimizing discounting and promotion strategies.
  • Effectively communicate complex data-driven insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including brand executives.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage multiple teams of data scientists.
