(YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) The Director CK Global Data Governance is responsible for defining and enforcing a unified enterprise data governance framework across all corporate brands and global regions. This role ensures standardized data attribution, ownership clarity, system alignment, and seamless data flow from ERP through all downstream platforms (PLM, PIM, MDM, DAM, Power BI, and reporting systems). This position plays a critical role in enabling digital selling readiness, operational scalability, and executive decision-making by ensuring accurate, consistent, and governed data across the full system landscape. This role establishes and upholds global data standards while ensuring business-wide compliance. This position partners closely with Data Operations, IT, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Supply Chain, and regional teams to drive a scalable and controlled data ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, or Global Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning data across multiple brands or business units.
  • Strong understanding of ERP data structures and system integrations.
  • Experience working across PLM, PIM, MDM, DAM, and Power BI ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and IT.
  • Experience within fashion, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
  • Knowledge of data compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
  • Power BI capability
  • Advanced excel for analysis and reporting with ability to collect streams of data from multiple external sources.
  • Ability to work in demanding environment, multi-task and identify and shift priorities quickly.
  • Capable of communicating effectively and performing in a cross-functional, collaborative environment across multiple levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Establish global data standards and attribution frameworks in alignment with other corporate brands.
  • Harmonize product, merchandising, marketing, and operational data definitions enterprise-wide.
  • Lead cross-brand alignment on taxonomy, naming conventions, hierarchies, and mandatory data attributes.
  • Ensure governance standards scale across regions, channels, and brand portfolios.
  • Participate in enterprise data governance councils with cross-brand representation.
  • Define and document enterprise data ownership (Data Owners, Data Stewards, System Custodians).
  • Standardize critical data attributes required for digital selling, reporting, compliance, and operational execution.
  • Ensure consistent attribution standards across brands to support consolidated reporting and analytics.
  • Oversee governance of data as it flows through downstream systems.
  • Partner with IT and Systems teams to ensure integration integrity and mapping accuracy.
  • Establish control points to validate data completeness before system integration.
  • Identify and resolve data breaks, redundancies, and translation gaps between systems.
  • Ensure upstream data standards support downstream digital and operational readiness.
  • Define enterprise data quality KPIs and measurable thresholds.
  • Building executive dashboards that visualize data quality KPIs and governance metrics via Power BI.
  • Drive root-cause remediation of recurring data inconsistencies across brands and systems.
  • Support compliance requirements and audit readiness where applicable.
  • Embed governance checkpoints into operational workflows (product creation, sample ordering, digital asset readiness).
  • Align governance requirements with system configuration and business processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual intervention and increase automation, where applicable.
  • Drive simplification and standardization across global teams.
  • Develop governance playbooks and training frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise data standards in alignment with all corporate brands.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for enterprise data governance strategy.
  • Support system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
