About the Role The Director, CRO Alliance is responsible for managing, implementing, and delivering CRO partnership strategy and vision. This role leverages strong executive relationships within the CRO industry to enable successful collaborations, strengthen strategic alignment, and meet annual partnership objectives. As a relationship-driven commercial leader, you will work closely with CRO executives and senior stakeholders to grow and maintain strategic alliances that drive mutual value and enhance service delivery capabilities. A strong understanding of the eClinical landscape—particularly Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions—will be critical in positioning Signant Health as a strategic technology partner within CRO organizations and supporting joint commercial success.

Requirements

  • Proven success in CRO partnership management or strategic alliance development within the clinical research industry
  • Experience supporting or driving adoption of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions within CRO or sponsor environments
  • Extensive experience within the CRO industry, with emphasis on executive relationship management and service integration
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including the ability to present strategic vision and technology value at the board and C-suite level
  • Strong understanding of the eClinical technology landscape and clinical data workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic direction through collaborative partnership approaches
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on partnership outcomes and long-term value creation
  • Dynamic, adaptable approach to managing complex stakeholder environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with partnership management platforms or alliance planning tools
  • Strong executive relationship management capability
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within global CRO organizations, focusing on top-tier and regional partners
  • Lead partnership strategy across the assigned CRO portfolio to meet or exceed partnership revenue targets, with emphasis on collaborative growth and expansion of EDC opportunities
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CRO partner pipelines and technology strategies, identifying opportunities to align Signant Health’s EDC solutions within joint engagements
  • Develop, communicate, and implement partnership solutions aligned with CRO service offerings and strategic objectives, ensuring effective integration of EDC and related technologies
  • Leverage existing relationships and build new connections within CRO organizations to identify and execute collaborative commercial opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Solutions Architects, Proposals, Technical Solutions, BD Operations, and Operations) to support complex partnership initiatives and enterprise proposals
  • Facilitate joint go-to-market strategies that strengthen CRO alignment and expand technology adoption
  • Represent Signant Health at major CRO and industry events to strengthen executive relationships, promote technology capabilities, and expand partnership visibility
  • Support additional strategic initiatives and partnership-focused projects as required
