As Director, Corporate Sales, you are responsible for driving all aspects of the selling process including, but not limited to, new business development; attainment of revenue and gross profit goals, and participation in the planning and execution of a defined growth strategy for assigned regions. As Director, Corporate Sales you will mentor and support Account Managers by scheduling performance meetings providing specific and constructive performance feedback and support in their techniques (prospecting, marketing, presentations, etc.). This role will also educate Account Managers with presentation of strategies and regular meetings, and ensure they have a sound process for pre-sales activities including call planning and preparation. Oversee the Corporate Sales activity on a daily basis Setting guidelines for prospecting, meetings, reporting, etc. Accompany the Account Managers on calls and provide coaching and guidance Supporting trade shows that the company exhibits at or is involved in Attending training for certifications, as necessary, such as Avixa and manufacturers trainings Ensure integrated efforts and provide feedback and direction to staff regarding strategic planning, goals and objectives for overall company performance, individual performance, employee retention and acquisition Be responsible for administration and distribution of timely sales reports and projections as required Communicate sales issues to other members of the management team. Be responsible for determination staff development and training and work with management to regularly evaluate the development progress Be responsible for the development and implementation of a sales plan. This plan should include market research, sales projections, territory or vertical market assignments, key and targeted account identification and new and existing customer development program Create a procedure for submitting high quality proposals to customers Ensure that all evaluations of the sales staff are done according to policy Attend job meetings as required to speak on behalf of the company as conditions may require. Determine the point at which the sales staff should require your involvement with the customer Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to motivate and effectively lead large teams comprised of sales and administrative personnel toward a common goal Energized self-starter capable of working independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results-oriented approach
