About The Position

The Director of Corporate Real Estate Workplace Experience is a practiced real estate professional responsible for executing on Truist enterprise corporate real estate strategy and operational excellence at Truist’s most highly occupied and critical locations referred to as HUB sites. In this role, the Director will ensure corporate facilities are maintained, projects are managed, ensure the safety and security of teammates, tenants and visitors and delivering best in class services. Position has in office expectations - not a remote opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 10 years' of relevant experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, hotel/hospitality management, and/or property management
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization collaborating with C-Suite and senior business leaders to influence decisions and achieve results.
  • Proven vision, leadership, and critical thinking skills to prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment; ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives that exceed customer expectations.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills; ability to create an atmosphere in which timely information flows smoothly through the organization.
  • Financial planning and vendor management aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act clearly during emergency response situations.
  • Ability to work predominately onsite in assigned properties and travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proven leadership, process discipline, vendor management and fiscal responsibility
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and customer service skills
  • Technical savvy with strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, and able to multi-task and prioritize work.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in Business Administration or an advanced degree is a Real Estate program
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Banking or Financial Services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison and consultant to Truist onsite senior leaders for facility and workplace requirements.
  • Full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of facilities including facility management, engineering, mail, conference services, management of third-party outsourced service providers and integration with asset/transaction management, project management, hospitality, and corporate security
  • Establish and manage annual facility and capital plan budgets that strategically elevate the value of the property and contributes to a positive work environment while proactively identify cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions that provide a hospitality inspired experience that is digitally savvy, frictionless, and hassle-free for Truist teammates, tenants and visitors.
  • Lead the various real estate and facility support groups to prioritize projects and services in accordance with the capital plan.
  • Manage 3rd party corporate real estate support to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Aggressively identify service gaps and collaborate with onsite teams for effective resolution.
  • Execute flawless communication plans that promote building services and events, provide instructions for ease of onsite navigation to occupants and aid in change management for large initiatives.
  • Elevate the level of hospitality, services and amenities offered as aligned with the profile of the building occupants.
  • Achieve the highest building tenancy levels with a strategic mix of well-placed office and retail businesses.
  • Set guidance and standards for onsite work and property activities reducing any risk to operational uptime and occupant safety.
  • Actively engage in the local community and participate industry events to bring best practices and innovation back to Truist offices.
  • Collaborate and assist ESG initiatives and other programs that demonstrate corporate social responsibility.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies through process improvements, technological innovation, and/or strategic sourcing strategies
