About The Position

The Director, Corporate Healthcare Sales role is accountable for business performance that is consistent with the Company's strategic direction. This role is expected to drive profitable growth by executing the Healthcare System strategy of over $100M. This role is also responsible for hiring, developing and retaining talent where expectations, ownership, and results are clearly defined. This role will work cross functionally to define the strategy and implement insightful-driven solutions to support effortless customer service.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Business, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations Management preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations Management required
  • 10+ years Sales team leadership preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare marketplace, including extensive experience with stakeholders and evaluating government policy impact, to inform business decisions
  • Experience influencing external and internal stakeholders at all leadership levels and maintaining relationships across the Company, associations, customers, resellers and related markets
  • Demonstrated project management skills & ability to manage multiple projects in a complex, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven track record of execution and driving results
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen necessary to analyze business problems and develop strategic and innovative solutions, includes experience with budget management and ability to apply financial models to business decisions
  • Ability to communicate information effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Experience winning large complex contract negotiations and realization
  • Travel up to 75% expected

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead teams capable of executing sales strategy and targets. Own end-to-end team performance by implementing clear performance measures that drive individual accountability while creating a culture of successful goal achievement, includes hiring, training, performance measurement and reporting.
  • Drive speed to revenue while meeting P&L financial targets through offer productivity improvements and provide operations support as needed to the large customer group and customer experience leadership team.
  • Lead the operations, budgeting and performance of the Health System and GPO team; ensure that team’s goals and objectives are aligned with the organization’s overall strategy and vision. Establish high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the team in planning and forecasting to support acceleration of revenue growth.
  • Support contract negotiations for critical accounts to deliver financially sound and well-resourced contracts that are clearly aligned with financial objectives and guidelines, provide appropriate support, and meet customer expectations. Determines customer needs of services or solutions as well as defining financial options to ensure contract compliance and contact commitments are met.
  • Determines segment focus areas and develops overall short-term and long-term segment strategies with responsibility for developing comprehensive market analysis, leveraging Health Services and GPO knowledge.
  • Facilitate and coach the standardization across their aligned teams to drive adoption of Salesforce and Sales management systems to ensure replicable go-to-market strategies for the health systems.
  • Sponsor change by implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize team adoption, usage and minimize resistance. Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the change.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to internal business partners by developing a deep understanding of needs, attitudes, and behaviors across segments and translates insights into actions that drive customer engagement and demand. Partners cross functionally to ensure that the strategy and solutions for the Corporate Healthcare team are in place and executed.
