About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance of Lennox Residential HVAC (LRH), the Director, Controller is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decision-making supporting our Sales & Stores functions. They will lead a team supporting our long-term strategic initiatives, while ensuring monthly forecasts and regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights to improve finance performance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of Finance experience in progressive Finance roles including financial planning, forecasting and analysis.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
Requires at least 8 years of related experience.

Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining financial models to support long-term strategic planning and annual budgeting processes.
Conducting regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights to improve finance performance.
Leading the annual LRP process, working closely with Lennox Residential leadership team to develop detailed budgets aligned with business objectives.
Preparing monthly forecasts and variance analysis to assess financial performance against plan and forecast.
Performing standard and ad-hoc financial analyses that support external and internal financial reporting, planning and forecasting.
Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, implementing effective internal controls and procedures.
Collaborating with shared services accounting centers of excellence to drive financial efficiency initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
