The Director of Content, West Region is responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of high-quality, innovative content that aligns with Red Bull’s vision and resonates with target audiences locally in the West Region, as well as nationally and globally. This role involves managing producers (both internal staff and freelancers), building and maintaining relationships with key production partners and talent in the West Region and in Santa Monica, and ensuring the successful delivery of content across relevant owned, managed, and third-party channels. The Director develops and oversees—or, in some cases, directly executes—individual content pieces and works closely with project leads, the Santa Monica Owned and Managed Media teams, and Regional and National Communications teams to meet audience objectives and business needs. The Director collaborates with the local creative community to develop and produce a wide range of content, including short-form, social, earned social, creator-led content, repeatable formats, mid-form content, and content distributed via third parties. They are responsible for the creative quality, distinctiveness, narrative strength, and execution of all content. The ultimate goal is to create content that reaches and engages key local audiences and, where appropriate, national and international audiences as well.
