Director of Social & Content Strategy with a strategic vision to move the brand forward through a creative-led lens. This leader will define how Madewell shows up across platforms, shaping a cohesive, culturally relevant content ecosystem that drives both brand heat and business impact. Candidates should have expertise in three key areas: Content Strategy: This role will lead the development of multi-dimensional content strategies, including brand campaigns, with a social-first approach. As a key cross-functional partner, they will drive strategies that support business priorities, delivering best-in-class creative content for strategic initiatives across owned, paid, and earned channels. They will establish a clear content architecture and narrative framework that ensures consistency across campaigns, channels, and customer touchpoints. Social Media: The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of social media marketing and how to effectively scale content across platforms. With a forward-thinking, insight-driven mindset, this role will leverage consumer behavior and cultural trends to translate Madewell’s brand direction and strategy into impactful, global brand moments. They will own the evolution of Madewell’s social voice and presence, ensuring it remains distinctive, culturally fluent, and aligned with brand positioning. Digital Innovation: This role will partner closely with social platforms to shape and advance innovative strategies, ensuring Madewell remains at the forefront of emerging formats, tools, and content opportunities. They will proactively identify and pilot new formats, technologies, and platform capabilities, translating them into scalable opportunities for the brand.
