The Audible Books Content Acquisitions Team owns the full cycle business relationships for new deal generation for our audiobooks program as well as for Audible Originals. As a member of the team you will help execute our acquisition strategy for audio rights with authors, agents, publishers, and recognized IP brands. You will support and contribute to a team that executes a high volume of complex dealmaking and will independently negotiate a number of deals. You also will be responsible for special projects that will help refine our strategic goals. You will partner closely with members of the team and with the Content Services and Legal teams, and will work closely with external agents, authors, and publishers. You are an experienced negotiator with the ability to close a high volume of deals for book based and audio original content with literary agents, authors, writers and publishers. You are a strategic developer with the responsibility for acquiring content that will impact Audible’s overall business. You are a trusted relationship manager conducting full lifecycle deal generation, from evaluating submissions, to making offers, to working with internal partners on release strategy for each title.
