Requirements

  • Minimum: 15 years Management
  • Minimum: 15 years Construction
  • Preferred: 15 years: Hospital Director Operations or equivalent
  • Must know: AIA A101, A105, A133, and A201 Contract Management
  • Required - Bachelors - Construction
  • Or - Bachelors - Engineering
  • Or Bachelors - Business
  • Or - Bachelors - Architecture
  • Or - Bachelors - Related Field

Responsibilities

  • Directs and supports the team resource functions including but not limited to human capitol budgeting and effective cost management, engagement, hiring, interviewing, counseling and development of staff.
  • Leads the department by providing department purpose and strategic alignment to BayCare strategic goals and focusing on the system and department needs beyond their area of responsibility.
  • Provides direction and guidance to the department on short and long-term goal progress.
  • Participates in performance reviews of leaders/direct reports and develops individual development plans in support of future leadership opportunities.
  • Assists in the preparation, implementation and delivery of market strategies based upon demographics, customer satisfaction tools and direct interviews.
  • Provides expertise and analytic skills to project future clinical and non-clinical needs based on technology and service line development.
  • Develops, reviews and modifies strategic plan and corresponding implementation plans in conjunction with senior leadership, medical leadership and department management.
  • Evaluates processes across the department, hospital or system for quality, cost effectiveness/efficiency and regulatory compliance, and recommend measures to streamline operations and reduce duplication.
  • Provides leadership for continuous quality improvement through working with related teams.
  • Inspires and motivates leaders and team members through positive and constructive coaching and creates a positive work environment where team members thrive.
  • Takes action to solve clinical, operational, administrative and team resource issues.
  • Communicates and conveys required information within and outside the BayCare community as needed.
  • Develops and maintains positive organizational relationships.
  • Facilitates communication and cooperation among Design, Facilities, and Security Departments
  • Champions required training and ensures all team members have completed requirements on an ongoing basis.
