Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Provides enterprise leadership for Prisma Health’s sponsorships, charitable giving, and major community events. The role ensures all community-facing activities align with system priorities, strengthen key partnerships, and reflect Prisma Health’s mission, values, and brand. The Director leads a team, manages system processes, oversees the sponsorship governance structure, and collaborates closely with system CEOs, Marketing, Philanthropy, Procurement, and Community Health. Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Leads and develops the team responsible for community partnerships, sponsorships, and special events. Oversees and aligns enterprise community engagement activities to ensure consistency and measurable impact. Directs and executes strategies for corporate partnerships and sponsorship agreements; manage the sponsorship request process and staff the Community Engagement Sponsorship Committee. Evaluates and recommends sponsorship opportunities using data and post-engagement analysis; develops annual engagement plans and maintains system-wide calendars. Builds and sustains relationships with community partners; collaborate with system leaders and Marketing to identify strategic engagement opportunities and integrate brand messaging and health priorities. Manages budgets and branded event inventory for community engagement initiatives. Oversees, plans, and executes major system-wide events, donor/partner engagements, and organizational celebrations; develops standardized event processes and performance metrics. Manages vendor relationships and ensures compliance with brand standards, procurement, contracting, and regulatory requirements; partners with Philanthropy and operational leaders to deliver events efficiently and within budget. Reviews and recommends charitable donation requests, funding levels, and timing; prioritizes investments aligned with Community Health and Accountable Communities, focusing on underserved populations; provides charitable giving investment information for the Community Benefit Report. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related health degree field of study.
  • Eight (8) years of management, community relations, sponsorship coordination.
  • Experience achieving actionable results working effectively with others in a highly matrixed complex organization.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Diplomacy and consensus building skills.
