Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. If you’re a Finance professional, we have an exciting opportunity for you. What You Will Be Doing Financial planning and analysis: A Director of Finance is responsible for creating and implementing financial plans that align with the overall business strategy. This includes forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to identify areas of improvement. Risk management: They are responsible for identifying and assessing financial risks that could impact the organization and developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Financial reporting and compliance: A Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring that all financial reports are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. This includes working closely with auditors and ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Team management: They are responsible for managing the finance team and ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business goals. This includes overseeing the hiring, training, and development of finance professionals. Strategic decision-making: A Director of Finance is a key member of the senior management team and is responsible for providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This includes evaluating new business opportunities, assessing the financial impact of major investments, and identifying areas for cost savings. What We Are Looking For Financial analysis: A Director of Finance should possess strong analytical skills to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and patterns. Strategic thinking: They should possess the ability to think strategically and develop effective financial strategies to drive business growth. Accounting knowledge: A strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices is essential for a Director of Finance to manage the financial operations of a company. Financial reporting: They should be able to prepare accurate and timely financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Budgeting and forecasting: They should be able to develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial stability of the organization. Risk management: They should be able to identify and manage financial risks to minimize the impact of potential losses. Leadership: They should possess strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of finance professionals. Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for a Director of Finance to communicate financial information to stakeholders. Technology proficiency: They should be comfortable with using financial software and technology to manage financial operations. Business acumen: A Director of Finance should possess a strong understanding of the company's business operations and how financial decisions impact the overall performance of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
