This role is a manager of managers. A Director, Cloud Solution Architect establishes and disseminates proven practices across their organization for proactively acting as an advocate. Provides thought leadership to teams on innovating methods for proactively identifying and/or translating customer/partner problems into industry solutions. Facilitates, triages, and mobilizes resources, within the customer success unit (CSU) and across Microsoft to solve issues. Acting as a technical expert and thought leader, champions helping the broader CSU to address critical blockers. Empowers teams for innovating and delivering solutions in line with company methodologies to prepare highest visibility strategic customers achievement of their business goals and targets. Defines the organizational vision for proactively setting the foundation with the customer for new cross-solution opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion at scale. Holds teams and their leaders accountable for driving operational excellence throughout all sales stages/activities/tools of record. Enables and ensures teams leverage market insights and demand signals to influence and partner with senior/executive leadership. Develops their organization's community engagement strategy, leading internal virtual team members and stakeholders. Oversees teams on proactively identifying and anticipating gaps that drive changes and improvements to scale across customers. In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
