About The Position

Sarasota Memorial is actively seeking an experienced Director of Childcare Services to oversee its two childcare centers. This leadership role involves planning, developing, and directing the activities of the departments or divisions, setting a positive leadership tone, and ensuring the successful completion of projects and responsibilities in support of organizational goals. Sarasota Memorial is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a respectful, supportive, and accountable workplace. Requirements

  • Require a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Early Childhood education or Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) in Elementary Education with twelve (12) hours child development. Relevant professional child care experience can substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • Require ten (10) years of experience working in a child care setting with a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with budgets/financial management or business operations.
  • Require Florida Child Care Director credential.
