This position is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll, which includes the management of multiple payroll teams processing pay in various states. Incumbent will also be responsible for administrative and clerical functions associated with payroll processing. Duties include but are not limited to input and retrieval of payroll data from computerized systems and knowledge of wage and hour regulations experience with implementing payroll systems is necessary. Incumbent interacts with managers and staff regarding payroll matters utilizing various platforms (in person, phone, email, and teams). Position is a direct report to the VP of Finance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years management experience in Payroll/Timekeeping.
  • Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines, knowledge of company pay practices, and implementing payroll systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Health Care Payroll practices and principles.
  • Progressively responsible position in the payroll profession.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with laws and payroll practices preferred (California and other states).
