About The Position

THE ROLE Entegris is establishing a new vertical—Contract Manufacturing—within Direct Procurement. The new hire in this global role will define and execute our insourcing/outsourcing and external supply-network strategy, partnering closely with Business Units, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Legal to build and lead a resilient, cost-effective, and innovation-ready external manufacturing ecosystem. If hired into this role, you can look forward to providing insights, external options, and strategic recommendations to support the optimal in-/outsourcing strategy for Entegris. You will lead a global team of Commodity Managers that jointly shapes strategy and drives execution across regions. WHAT YOU'LL DO Drive External Network Strategy & Make/Buy Support Deliver external manufacturing scenarios, cost & capability analyses, and risk assessments to inform in-/outsourcing decisions. Establish and maintain standardized make/buy governance (TCO & lifecycle economics, capability/capacity, IP/quality risk, CapEx vs. OpEx), ensuring an auditable trail and clear approval pathways. Translate BU growth plans into external network roadmaps with quantified value cases (NPV/ROI/Payback) and benefit tracking. Effectively Build and Maintain Strategic Supplier & External Manufacturing Partnerships Own procurement for supply network partners and contract manufacturers. Drive joint business plans, secure roadmap visibility and allocation, and negotiate scalable commercial frameworks (pricing, SLA’s, rebates/indexation, payment terms, stocking levels) Implement supplier segmentation and value-based scorecards (innovation velocity, resilience/BCP posture, capacity agility, continuity, quality, service, cost). Run SBRs/EBRs with rigorous KPIs; lead cross-functional escalation and recovery actions where delivery, quality, or compliance is at risk. Align with business stakeholders to manage Product Lifecycle Lead Cross-Functional Integration (NPI → Sustaining) Ensure effective integration into NPI and tech-transfer (DFM/DFX, ramp readiness, alternates), aligning external manufacturing strategy with BU roadmaps. Orchestrate decisions with Ops, Planning, Tech/Engineering, Quality, Legal, and Finance/FP&A, explicitly tying external network choices to P&L and cash (price/PPV, Delta-P/productivity, working capital). Provide Digital, Analytics & Insights Deploy what-if/optimization analytics to test scenarios (cost, capacity, geo-risk, service), and maintain dashboards for KPIs and value realization. Maintain market-intelligence rhythms (commodity indices, supplier financial health, geo-political risk, capacity signals) to time actions and protect continuity. Define Risks and Ensure Resilience & Sustainability Ensure dual-source/BCP coverage for critical categories; define triggers and playbooks for disruptions. Embed sustainability/ESG (e.g., Scope 3, regionalization trade-offs) into supplier selection and business cases. Be a Strong Leaders & Manage Talent Effectively Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team of Commodity Managers; mature the operating system (cadences, KPIs, tooling, change management). Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, compliance, and continuous improvement aligned to PACE values.

Requirements

  • A strong team leader with 10+ years in direct procurement/supply chain/operations with proven global scope and external/contract manufacturing exposure.
  • Demonstrated success building make/buy governance processes and delivering multi-year value (cost, cash, resilience, innovation) through structured decision frameworks.
  • Procurement–Finance fluency: strong financial modeling expertise, (TCO/lifecycle, NPV/ROI/Payback), experience collaborating with Finance on AOP/forecasting, and the proven ability to bridge PPV/price to operational drivers (e.g., productivity standards).
  • Analytics-forward mindset and ability to effectively pull together scenario/what-if modeling, KPI design, and dashboarding using ERP/BI tools (e.g., SAP/JDE; Power BI/Tableau).
  • Strong, proven track record of success in strategic negotiations (commercial terms, rebates/indexation, allocation/security of supply) and partnering with Legal on complex agreements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder influence across matrixed, cross-regional organizations.
