About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare ( www.jeffersonhealthcare.org ) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director, Cardiopulmonary and Physical Rehabilitation Services and Wellness . This individual will be responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and clinical functions of the Rehabilitation Department, including Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. The Director will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive departmental efficiency and performance in alignment with hospital goals. This role oversees the planning, administration, and direction of Physical Rehabilitation Services-including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, and our Wellness program. These services are provided across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and community-based wellness initiatives. The Director also serves as a liaison to community and wellness agencies, ensuring that all departmental activities and outcomes align with the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a clinical setting required
  • Minimum of two years of progressive leadership experience required
  • Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathology
  • Active WA State License Required
  • Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications and licenses indicated above, and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements
