As the Director of Business Development, you are responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new enterprise-level business opportunities. You’ll lead strategic growth efforts across key industries, forging strong relationships with decision-makers and positioning ReturnPro’s integrated solutions as essential to their returns management strategy. This role is high-impact and hands-on. You’ll be trusted to build meaningful relationships, shape solutions, and bring new clients into the ReturnPro ecosystem across our core verticals: SaaS, ReCommerce, and Reverse Supply Chain. At ReturnPro, Business Development isn’t about selling a product; it’s about solving a system-wide challenge and building long-term, mission-driven partnerships. You’ll have a direct hand in reshaping the future of returns and helping businesses become more sustainable and profitable at the same time.

  • Develop and close new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 retailers, brands, and 3PLs.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles across software, services, and marketplace offerings.
  • Build trust and credibility with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Craft tailored value propositions that connect to our clients' operational and financial goals.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals with strategic precision.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Product, Operations, Legal, Finance) to co-create solution roadmaps.
  • Stay deeply informed on industry trends, competitor positioning, and client challenges.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, outreach, and networking.
  • Support the development of proposals, RFPs, pricing strategies, and presentations.
  • Help shape our go-to-market strategy through feedback and market insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in SaaS, logistics, or B2B services
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and close $500K+ deals with complex buying teams
  • Experience selling into retail, manufacturing, or supply chain verticals strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute with speed and precision
  • Expert consultative seller with strong discovery, negotiation, and storytelling skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong business acumen with an analytical mindset
  • Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
