About The Position

The Regional Desk acts as the central coordination hub between Regional Sales/Product Marketing teams and the global Automotive BU Product Management and commercial functions. This role is specifically for a China Regional Desk, to align product, commercial, operational, and technical resources to support design-win success and drive Qualcomm Automotive growth in China. The position provides China market insight, orchestrates internal readiness, manages commercial workflows at scale, and ensures cross-functional alignment across Product Management, CE, Finance, Operations, Development, and Legal. GTM Alignment & Commercial Execution Drive alignment between China Sales/Product Marketing and global BU Product Management teams to support regional priorities, program needs, and competitive requirements. Provide China regional insights in Pricing Council discussions and guide BU preparation for quotes, complex cross product portfolio deals, and commercial strategy. Lead BU-side execution for high-volume China commercial requests, including quotes, contracts, MOUs, RMA compensation, escalations, and incentive proposals. Forecasting & Pipeline Management Consolidate and drive design win pipeline and forecasting accuracy for China OEM/Tier-1 engagements with Sales teams to support BU Operations and Finance teams. Customer Engagement & Regional Enablement Prepare internal stakeholders for customer workshops, meetings, and executive interactions, including briefing materials, notes, and action tracking. Support regional Sales and Product Marketing enablement with internal processes, product training coordination, and championing CE/business teams resourcing needs. Operational & Strategic Support Coordinate supply-resiliency actions as required by China OEM/Tier-1s. Support ecosystem and strategic partnership initiatives across China region, such as MOUs and partnership proposals. Maintain continuous cross-functional communication to ensure leadership visibility on program status, risks, and China business dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 10+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent and 14+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fields (Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) or a related technical field a plus.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (EE/CS/Industrial Engineering) or related technical field, or MBA.
  • 8+ years experience supporting automotive semiconductor product lines in product marketing, commercial management, or program leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of China technology and electronics ecosystem, with proven success coordinating China-based business teams from a global HQ environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination across Product, CE, Finance, Sales, Operations, Development, and Legal.
  • Experience preparing pricing packages, commercial proposals, scenario analyses, and GTM materials for China OEM/Tier-1 customers.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm Automotive offerings and internal processes.
  • Preferred familiarity with automotive OEM/Tier-1 landscape and competitive environment.
