About The Position

The Role As Director, Brokerage Corporate Actions, you will blend brokerage expertise with the necessary skills to develop the team while acting as the leader for this organization. The Director has operational oversight of all announcement and reconciliation processes associated with corporate actions and income payments for the Fidelity Agency Lending business.

Requirements

  • 10 years of Brokerage Operations experience required.
  • Operational experience supporting international processing required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, empower and communicate effectively and assertively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Series 99 or 7 required.
  • Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Functional experience with agency lending preferred.
  • Experience supporting international stock lending preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an intermediary between banks and borrowers focusing on the importance of timely and accurate communication.
  • Manage expiration date events (and relevant liabilities) along with reconciliation of new entitlements for a variety of regionally specific corporate actions.
  • Event and instruction management in proprietary Fidelity applications.
  • Accountable for key talent management processes including hiring, on boarding, goal setting, performance evaluations and other career development activities for a team.
  • Ability to adjust team/departmental priorities to support changing needs.
  • Participation as a key stakeholder in prioritization of enhancements and new releases of core functional systems.
  • Track record of end-to-end process improvement delivering tangible business results.
